Case Study
Interior Design Newsletter Campaign
Client Overview

Industry: Interior Design
Project Duration: Monthly ongoing
Deliverables: Monthly email newsletters

The Challenge

A boutique interior design studio with Italian roots needed to strengthen client relationships & build community engagement through strategic email communications. The project brief:

  • nurture relationships with past, present and prospective clients

  • build a loyal brand community

  • support studio events & workshops

  • promote seasonal offers & services

  • maintain consistent monthly touchpoints

The Solution

Brand Voice Development

I created a distinct brand voice that authentically captured mediterranean influence with the brand’s character-led approach to design, whilst connecting with Harrogate's luxury interior design market. The tone balanced warmth with community spirit through carefully selected language & cultural references. Copy was used to strengthen brand values through strategic phrases such as ‘tailor made for you’.

Content Strategy

Developed four strategic content pillars:

  • Design Philosophy: exploring sensory connections with spaces

  • Seasonal Living: aligning design with natural seasonal rhythms & proactive wellbeing

  • Community Building: creating exclusive experiences & community connections

  • Industry Insights: sharing trends from international design events

Execution

Subject Line Optimisation

Crafted mobile-optimised headlines designed to maximise open rates through curiosity & emotional connection. Examples include:
‘Pull up a chair and gather round’ - referencing family gatherings with a nod to the studio’s Christmas theme. A designer red chair was prominently hanging in the Christmas-themed window at the Harrogate Design Studio.
‘Psst Embrace the Quiet’, a reference to making home Winter cosy approaching ‘nesting’ season with a play on words - to be present among the presents.

Email Structure

  • Appetising preheader text (snippets)

  • Scannable bullet points for key information

  • Clear & focused calls-to-action

Content Themes

Each newsletter was crafted to deliver value with engagement:

  • Winter Edition: explored mindfulness & sensory experience in design

  • Spring Edition: provided seasonal refresh tips alongside industry insights

  • Summer Edition: integrated community initiatives with design content

  • Autumn Edition: introduced new products, suppliers, services & exclusive previews

Results

Engagement Success

  • built on existing emotional connections

  • created exclusive status for subscribers

  • supported numerous events which were well attended
